The OÜ AUDEST (public limited company) was founded as an audit company on November 7th, 1992, and was registered in the Entities Register of the town of Johvi (North-Eastern region of Estonia) on November 24th, 1992. Since the date of its foundation, the OÜ AUDEST has provided accounting and office management services along with auditing. Since 2000, legal assistance is being given on the professional basis.
In 1993 the word AUDEST was registered as a trademark in the Trademarks Register under administration of the Patent Department of Estonia.
In 1999, the Law on auditing activity came into operation, establishing special requirements to audit companies. In order to bring them in line with the legal requirements, the AUDEST AUDIITORTEENUSTE OÜ (private limited company) has been created, which only activity is auditing. In 2000, the AUDEST AUDIITORTEENUSTE OÜ was registered under number 21 in the Register of audit companies by the Management Board of the Auditors Collegium as an audit company (within the meaning of the Law on auditing activity).
The OÜ AUDEST itself still provides services on accounting, legal assistance, business consulting and office management, as well as acts as a holding to coordinate and develop the concern in whole.
